Dogs for Adoption
On occasion we have purebred German Shepherd Dogs for adoption to good homes that are either retiring breeding stock or dogs intended for breeding that we found did not meet our standards. Also, we occasionally take in working breeds dogs for folks that are unable to keep them for whatever reason. These dogs are almost always in good health, but any known health concern will be duly noted. An adoption fee of $150.00 helps to cover our expenses. Adopted dogs may be returned for any reason but may not be transferred to another party without the consent of Schwarzer Hund German Shepherds.
ADOPTED Hunter is a show-line male purebred German Shepherd from another breeder. His owner is no longer able to keep him due to housing circumstances. He has a good stable temperament, a clean health record, and has been neutered. He is crate trained and has basic obedience.
ADOPTED Rosie is a healthy 5-year-old purebred German Shepherd with basic obedience. She has a loving and friendly demeanor and should make a great family dog. She has been kept both inside and outside the home.

ADOPTED Maggie is a healthy 4-year-old Malinois. She has a good temperament and is a good watch dog. She is medium energy for a Malinois and has basic obedience training. She is an outside dog but should be able to transition to indoor living if necessary.
